My Beach Reads
To me, a "beach read" or easy read is the creme de la creme when my brain needs a break. With their uncomplicated plots and relatable characters, they provide a delightful escape from the complexities of everyday life. Whether it's a heartwarming romance, a lighthearted comedy, or a thrilling adventure, these books offer a respite, allowing me to relax and unwind.
Beach reads are easy books to read and are the perfect companions, offering comfort, entertainment, and a much-needed break from the demands of the world.
With that, I'm happy to begin my curated list of Beach Reads for your summer. Perhaps you've heard of them, perhaps you have yet to. But I've read them all and loved them and their characters. 1. The South Side Stories
My first series comes from Abigail Drake, and they’re called “The South Side Stories.” All three books are set in the same town, and each offers a unique story enriched with a bit of magic, faith, family and a strong sense of community. They’re heartwarming, and easy to read, but contain a bit of adventure that will have you on the edge of your seat. I pray that Abigail writes more because these stories are my go-to when I need something uplifting!
