Collaborations always truly confused me. I didn’t understand how they worked. I had people and companies in my mind that I wanted to collaborate with, but I also wanted them to hire me. When Danielle and Kayla reached out to me, I was so excited. Musicians are normally in my repertoire of work, and I was excited to learn more about what they do! I learned that they use their own talents and backgrounds to promote new and underrepresented work, as well as teaching, AND to continue to learn! Kayla is currently in Illinois earning her Ph.D.!
